Chicago, IL (November 26, 2007) Local surgeon announces breakthrough procedure for lateral ankle instability.

"Lateral ankle instability is a condition that has been largely unaddressed by the medical community for years because of lack of effective treatment options and inaccurate diagnosis of the condition. Many people think that years of tripping and falling are due to klutziness rather than a treatable medical condition," states Dr. Robert Lim, creator of The Lim Procedure and board certified foot and ankle surgeon.

An ankle sprain sounds harmless enough; however, the severity of an ankle sprain is not to be underestimated. A staggering 45% of sports related injuries are ankle sprains.
